After a month of head-to-head battles, we've finally crowned the Best Frozen Cocktail!
The Final Round was a blowout, with the winner taking just over 84% of the vote.
The winner of the Best Frozen Cocktail Contest is:
The Frozen Plum Margarita, served at AltaToro in Atlanta, GA, created by Mixologist Jorge Ortiz!
Here's a look at the recipe again:
Frozen Plum Margarita
Ingredients:
4 oz lime juice
4 oz plum-infused agave syrup (more for sweeter)
2 oz brovo curaçao
5-6 oz good blanco tequila (depending on how strong you want)
Pinch of salt ( a good pinch)
2 cups of ice
Plum-infused agave syrup
500g plums
500g water
500g agave nectar
Directions:
For the plum syrup, bring ingredients to a boil and strain.
For the cocktail, measure ingredients on separate container as you can make several margaritas or save it for later.
