Lucas Bols Toasts Harvey Wallbanger Day on Nov. 8

This November 8th is National Harvey Wallbanger Day and Lucas Bols, USA invites you to toast in style with a cocktail made with the recently released Galliano L’Autentico.

Who was Harvey Wallbanger, exactly? According to cocktail lore he was a Manhattan Beach surf star who had a few too many cocktails made with vodka, orange juice, and Galliano after losing a surfing competition. He couldn’t leave the bar without stumbling into walls, earning a reputation for himself and the eponymous drink. Harvey Wallbangers were a popular tipple throughout the 1960’s and ‘70s and with the reintroduction of Galliano L’Autentico, can now be enjoyed as Harvey did on that fateful day.

Based on the original recipe developed in 1896, Galliano L’Autentico is heightened with a menagerie of herbs and botanicals including hints of juniper, anise and yarrow musk which add complexity to the signature vanilla flavor making it an authentic artisanal herbal liqueur again.
