Planning for Cinco De Mayo with a Virtual Happy Hour

Cinco De Mayo is exactly one week away- normally a time for patrons to flood bars for tacos, cervezas, margaritas, and tequila.

Bars across the country have been shuttered but this week, a number of states are starting to open up with restrictions and many more are due to follow in the next month.

As a way to get your audience engaged, Bar & Restaurant is hosting a virtual happy hour on Instagram today, April 28th, at 6 pm EST with National Ambassador of Milagro Tequila, Jaime Salas. Jaime brings a wealth of information from tequila to margaritas and engaging with online audiences.

Even if bars and restaurants are not open for on-premise, many states are allowing cocktail and/or alcohol to-go and could be a way to soft-open an operation. We wrote about Vida Taco Bar who is crushing sales with their margarita delivery program and has seen daily sales surpass their pre-COVID weekly sales.

Today we're going to make two margaritas, chat about best practices for hosting a virtual happy hour, and share some fun trivia and Cinco games to share with your audiences.

Grab the ingredient below and a bottle of Milagro tequila, and come have a margarita with us at 6 p.m. this evening!
