Winter is the season of dark spirits and cozy nights, and whiskey is the perfect spirit to highlight on your seasonal cocktail menus.
We've rounded up a few examples of whiskey cocktail recipes perfect for your winter cocktail menus.

Easy, Now Party Punch
Ingredients:
4 ounces Fraser & Thompson North American Whiskey
1 cup pomegranate juice
Zest of 1 orange
1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 (750 ml) bottle Prosecco or sparkling wine, chilled
Arils from 1 pomegranate
Directions:
In a large pitcher, combine Fraser & Thompson, pomegranate juice, orange zest and orange juice.
Chill until ready to serve.
Just before serving, add ice to the punch bowl and pour over the contents of the pitcher.
Top with Prosecco and pomegranate arils.

Highlands Scotch: Sherry Cocktail
Ingredients:
1 oz The Glendronach Original Aged 12 Years
1/2 oz Sweet Vermouth
1 dash Angostura Bitters
Garnish: Filthy Black Cherry
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice.
Stir until very cold and strain into a chilled coupe.
Garnish with cherry.

Mash & Mallow Campfire Mule
1.5 ounce Mash & Mallow
0.75 oz lemon juice
0.25 oz Amaretto
Dashes of angostura bitters
Top with ginger beer
Garnish: 3 tiny marshmallows on a pick
Directions:
- Add Mash & Mallow, lemon juice and Amaretto into a Collins glass.
- Top with ice cubes.
- Add dash of angostura butters.
- Top with a ginger beer and stir gently.
- Garnish with 3 tiny marshmallows on a pick.

Winter Whiskey Sour
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz blended scotch whisky
1/2 oz Monin Winter Citrus Syrup
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz orange juice
Garnish: Orange peel
Directions:
- Fill serving glass full of ice.
- Pour ingredients into mixing glass with 2/3 ice in order listed.
- Cap, shake and strain into serving glass with ice.
- Add garnish and serve.

The Smokey Margarita
Ingredients:
1 ½ oz. Tequila Herradura Silver
½ oz. Benriach The Smoky Ten Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
½ oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
½ oz. Fresh Lime Juice
¾ oz. Agave Nectar
Smoked Salt (garnish)
Directions:
Add all ingredients except Benriach to a shaker.
Add ice and shake vigorously.
Strain into a margarita glass half-rimmed with smoked salt and filled with fresh ice.
Float Benriach on top over a bar spoon.

Blood Orange Manhattan
Ingredients:
2 oz rye whisky
1/2 oz sweet vermouth
1/2 oz Monin Blood Orange Syrup
1 dashes orange bitters
Garnish: Orange peel
Directions:
- Chill serving glass.
- Pour ingredients into mixing glass with 2/3 ice in order listed.
- Stir vigorously to chill, and strain into chilled serving glass.
- Add garnish and serve.
