3. Agave Spirits Institute Course

Agave spirits are trending, with other agave spirits vying for the spotlight alongside tequila.

Learn more about this burgeoning market with The Agave Spirits Institute’s exclusive and intensive course on Wednesday, March 29, from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. The course will take a deep dive into tequila, mezcal, sotol, raicilla, and more. It’s designed for both beginners and advanced bartenders, and participants will receive accompanying kits, tastings, hands-on education, and a diploma of completion.

Certified Sommelier and Agave Spirits Institute Director of Education Daniel Rodriguez Gonzalez will lead the course. With his extensive background in the wine industry, Daniel founded the Agave Spirits Institute, taking the approach and methodology of wine study and applying it to agave spirits. He built an educational program and a faculty composed of professionals across various fields of agave history, production, tasting, and natural sciences to create the first and only accredited institution dedicated to the instruction, study, and stewardship of all agave spirits.
