How to Make Money with Your Music

We hope you're making plans to attend this year's Nightclub & Bar Show, Monday, March 24 through Wednesday, March 27 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Informative conference sessions, keynotes and exhibits await you, including the return of Jon Taffer!

Each evening will be filled with VIP treatment in the city's top nightspots. Attending is a smart way to stay up-to-date with current industry trends and the latest in cutting-edge nightlife developments.

One of the many new conference sessions this year features 2015 Nightclub & Bar Show keynote speaker Steele Platt, founder of Yard House Restaurants, and Wyatt Magnum, president of The Magnum Music Group. Their session, "Make Money with Your Music," will take place on Monday, March 25th at 2:00 p.m. in Room S228.

Platt will share his insights into why music is so important to the Yard House brand. Magnum is the industry's go-to guy when it comes to professional music curation and playlist development. Together, Platt and Magnum will unlock the secrets to creating the perfect music mix for your bar, restaurant, nightclub or hotel. This session will certainly be packed, so plan to arrive early and claim your seat.

Additional topics to be discussed include: what music styles work (and which don't), the importance of dayparting your music, understanding beats-per-minute, music licensing, and much more. You're sure to walk away with intelligent and invaluable ideas for improving your music and making money with it.

Choosing the right speakers and sound system will also be discussed during their program. “You might be playing the right music,” says Magnum. “But if your guests can't hear the music, it's too loud or sounds poor, then you're not maximizing your potential to properly engage your customers. We're going to tell you exactly what you need to do to sound great.”

An extended Q&A with the audience will conclude the program, so get your questions ready now.
