EMM, the influential nightlife and hospitality company behind New York’s celebrity haunts Abe & Arthur’s, SL and Hamptons property The Estate, bring a truly unique experience: The Chandelier Room at W Hoboken Hotel & Residences. Opened in March 2009, The Chandelier Room brings an innovative nightlife concept to Hoboken, N.J.  The 4,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor venue provides guests and residents alike with a wide array of special events and signature cocktails in a high-energy uniquely outfitted atmosphere.

From its newly launched monthly Sunday brunch parties to its highly successful Tuesday night after-work happy hour. The Chandelier Room has become Hoboken’s most sought after lounge, where everyone from New Jersey and New York come together to enjoy perfectly made libations and breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline.

Conceptualized and executed by EMM Group principals, Eugene Remm, Mark Birnbaum and Michael Hirtenstein, The Chandelier Room reinvents the concept of the traditional hotel lounge, ushering in a new era of style and refinement to Hoboken while transforming this city into a sought-after Manhattan outpost. The venue boasts a confluence of elements from expansive views, uniquely designed materials and functional areas, to unrivaled service amid a plush environment.

Designed by ICRAVE, a renowned Manhattan-based design studio specializing in nightlife and hospitality, the lounge displays classic proportions, stunning river views, and an open terrace – three key ingredients for an archetypal Great Room. The design has artfully integrated the views showcasing The Hudson River and silhouette of NYC skyline.

The Chandelier Room

Taking center stage of the space is an ornate chandelier, oversized and scaled to fantastic proportions, which cascades down from the ceiling enhancing the tremendous height of the space and creating a majestic feel. It engages as guests settle into the crystal drop chairs that hang from the merlot-colored boughs. The colors and textures of the space are rich and warm – copper tiles, glazed cognac leathers and chocolate velvets, with heady tortoise tones cut through by absinthe-colored accents that give it distinct edge and energy. The seating areas are deep and plush and the bar is honed marble that takes on a satin patina as it ages.

Known for its position at the forefront of musical culture, EMM Group continues to carve out a high-energy atmosphere through the integration of Chandelier Roomcommon hits with classic beats and obscure tracks. The result is a sound all its own and a format that goes beyond the basic fundamentals to create a framework that has transformed The Chandelier Room into a scenic staple of Hoboken nightlife.

Eugene Remm and Mark Birnbaum along with business entrepreneur Michael Hirtenstein founded EMM Group in 2006 and have since built it into one of New York’s most successful and multi-faceted hospitality management companies. The company is currently ranked #62 in the food and beverage category on the Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies. Within the company framework exist several divisions devoted to restaurant and nightlife operations, marketing and event production, promotions and lifestyle management. Within its first four years, EMM Group opened the doors to four venues: Tenjune, The Chandelier Room at the W Hoboken, SL and Abe & Arthur’s. In the summer and fall of 2011 they added SL East, the Hamptons outpost of its Meatpacking flagship nightclub and two new restaurant venues: Lexington Brass and CATCH. Lexington Brass is a New-American bistro in the lobby level of a luxury Hyatt in midtown Manhattan. CATCH is a seafood concept helmed by "Top Chef" Season 3 Winner, Hung Huynh, in the Meatpacking District.  In addition to their venues, they also purchased the EMM Group Estate, a privately owned property in Sag Harbour for private events, and launched Four Hundred, a members-only lifestyle management service.
