Nightclub & Bar would like to take a moment to congratulate the recently announced World’s 50 Best Bars 2018!
Every bar that made it onto the list certainly earned their spot. However, we’re incredibly proud of the past and present Nightclub & Bar Award winners on this year’s World’s 50 Best Bars list and feel they deserve a special shout-out by us.
The 2018 Nightclub & Bar Cocktail Bar of the Year, BlackTail, is number 41 on the list, while our 2017 Cocktail Bar of the Year, Trick Dog, is number 44. Lost Lake, the 2016 Nightclub & Bar Award winner for New Concept of the Year can be found at number 50. And number 26 on the List, Employees Only in NYC, not only won the 2015 Nightclub & Bar Cocktail Bar of the Year Award, it was where our 2015 Bartender of the Year, Steve Schneider, proved himself to be resilient powerhouse behind the stick.
We’d also like to recognize Dandelyan, number one on the World’s 50 Best Bars 2018 list. While not a past or current Nightclub & Bar Award winner, we’ve featured Ryan Chetiyawardana’s bar as an innovative proponent of sustainability. Dandelyan may be closed now but we’re excited to see what Chetiyawardana does next with the space.
