Our site unveils a revamped design, which not only looks great – it’ll make accessing and engaging with our content even easier.
Things are looking a little different around here. You may have noticed that Bar & Restaurant has been rolling out subtle changes over the last months (not to mention an entire re-brand for our event, Bar & Restaurant Expo). We hope today’s redesign really caught your attention.
These changes advance our mission of bringing you the news and insights you crave in easy to digest formats. We’re constantly working to improve our content and serve you better, so I’m truly excited to share some of these updates with you.
On our homepage, you’ll find:
- A new, more detailed top section where our latest content lives
- Just below that, a row of posts that bring you the latest in tech news
- An Editor’s Choice section (my favorite!), so you don’t miss out on top quality content, even when it’s a few days old
- Scrolling content so you can find the stories you want easier
- Recommended content so you can explore the topics that interest you most.
Throughout the site, you’ll find color blocking and font changes, as well as a greater emphasis on video and multi-media content types.
Many of these changes were informed by you, based on aggregate user behaviors, heatmapping and feedback. Other changes were informed by overall trends in web design and changing expectations in our markets.
We are thrilled to have you experience the new Bar & Restaurant and the changes don’t stop here. We’ll be rolling out more design improvements in the coming months. Watch this space for more announcements related to these changes.
