The Bloody Mary is the quintessential brunch cocktail. Created in the early 1920s, it traditionally features a mix of vodka, tomato juice, and other spices and flavorings, which can include Worcestershire sauce, herbs, horseradish, hot sauce, and a variety of seasonings. In recent years, many bars and restaurants have also added elaborate garnishes to Bloodys, including everything from celery, olives, and cheeses, to bacon, shrimp, and mini hamburgers.
It's also considered a great hangover cure since it features hydrating elements like tomato juice as well as spices like salt, which can replenish lost electrolytes. The small amount of alcohol in the drink also serves as a "hair of the dog" recovery method.

Mutiny Mary
Ingredients:
2 oz Smoked Hot Pepper Infused Mutiny Island Vodka
4 oz tomato juice or bloody mary mix
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 dashes Tabasco Green Jalapeno Sauce
½ oz lemon juice
Garnish: celery stalk, lime wedge, cherry tomato, olives, salt and pepper
Directions:
- Mix Smoked Hot Pepper Infused Mutiny Island Vodka with all other ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake gently and strain into an ice-filled Collins glass.
- Garnish with your favorite Bloody Mary fixings.

Bloody Maria
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Dulce Vida Organic Blanco Tequila
3 oz Bloody Mary Mix
0.25 oz Fresh Lime Juice
Cayenne Pepper, Cracked Pepper & Celery Salt
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients with ice and stir in tall glass.
- Add seasoning to taste.
- Option to garnish with a lime wedge, olives and celery.

Pickled Bloody Mary
Ingredients:
28 oz good quality tomato juice or Clamato juice
8 oz vodka
2 tbsp Bubbies Spicy Horseradish
2 tbsp Bubbies Spicy Kosher Dill Pickle brine
3 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1-2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1-2 tsp hot sauce
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
Tender celery stalks and pickle spears for garnish
Directions:
- In a pitcher, whisk together all ingredients.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Pour into four 10-12 ounce glasses filled with ice, garnish and serve.

Proper Bloody Mary
Ingredients:
1.5 parts Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey
3 parts Tomato Juice
1/3 part Lemon Juice
4 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
1 bar spoon Pickle Juice
1/2 bar spoon Horseradish
Squeeze of Lime Juice
1 pinch Celery Salt or Table Salt
1 pinch Ground Black Pepper
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice.
- Shake and strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with a celery stalk, lemon wedge, and olives.
