Martinis Continue to Trend, Try These Unique Recipes

Martinis continue to trend with bar and restaurant consumers, with guests looking for offerings that go beyond the ubiquitous espresso martini.

Also keep in mind that World Martini Day is coming up on June 19, and a martini-centric menu celebrating the holiday would be a great addition to your summer menus.

We've rounded up a collection of martini recipes for your bar menus, using gin and vodka, to help get you through the spring and summer months.

Waymartini

Ingredients:

3 oz Waymar Gin House Signature Dry Gin

1 dash orange bitters

Spritz of dry vermouth

Lemon twist (garnish)

Directions:

  1. Combine Signature Dry Gin and orange bitters in a mixing glass.
  2. Stir for 30 seconds or until chilled properly.
  3. Spritz the inside of a chilled martini glass with dry vermouth.
  4. Pour gin into the martini glass and express lemon oil on top of the cocktail.
  5. Garnish with lemon twist.

Apricot Saketini

Ingredients:

1 1/4 oz. North Shore Vodka

1 oz. Pure Snow Nigori Sake

2 oz. The Perfect Purée Apricot Puree, thawed

1/4 oz. fresh squeezed orange juice

Dash of fresh lime and lemon juices

3 dashes of orange bitters

Directions:

  1. Combine vodka, sake, Apricot Puree, and juices into a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake and strain into a martini glass.
  3. Add 3 dashes of orange bitters and one orange slice for garnish.

Yuzu Martini

Ingredients:

2 oz. citrus vodka

1 oz. Monin Yuzu Purée

2 oz. fresh sweet & sour mix

Garnish: star fruit

Directions:

  1. Chill serving glass.
  2. Pour ingredients into mixing glass with 2/3 ice in order listed.
  3. Cap, shake and strain into chilled serving glass.
  4. Add garnish and serve.

Empress Martini

Ingredients: 

2 oz Empress 1908 Indigo Gin 

1⁄2 oz Lillet Blanc 

Grapefruit Twist 

Directions:

  1. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass.
  2. Garnish with a grapefruit twist.

The Revivalist Martini

Ingredients:

2.5 oz Revivalist Garden Gin

0.5 oz Dry Vermouth

Garnish: Orange blossom mist and/or orange peel

Directions:

  1. Add ingredients to mixing glass. 

  2. Stir well until diluted. 

  3. Strain into chilled Martini glass.

Blueberry Pancake Martini

Ingredients:

2 pump(s) Monin Blueberry Concentrated Flavor

1/2 oz. Monin Maple Pancake Syrup

1 1/2 oz. vodka

2 oz. half & half

Garnish: blueberries

Directions:

  1. Chill serving glass.
  2. Pour ingredients into mixing glass with 2/3 ice in order listed.
  3. Cap, shake and strain into chilled serving glass.
  4. Add garnish and serve.
