Today is the day! Bar & Restaurant Expo is officially here. We’re bringing the hospitality industry together once again to learn, network, taste and play in Las Vegas for the three-day event. As always, our first day is all about education.
There are almost 30 conference sessions happening today. Our morning Workshops kickoff at 9am, followed by our breakout sessions at 1:00pm. If you purchased a VIP Pass or have access to the Workshops – make sure you reserve your space in a session, they fill up fast!
You can find a full schedule for the day on our website or our Bar & Restaurant Expo app. We highly recommend you download the app before you get to the Las Vegas Convention Center, because it has all the information you need to know at your fingertips. You can browse the floorplan, go through the conference schedule, and even create a customized agenda with all the events and activations you want to go to. Workshops
9:00am – 12:00pm
Our world-class conference program starts with six hands-on Workshops, led by leaders in the F&B industry and beyond, including Michael Tipps, Todd Collins, David “Rev” Ciancio, Amie Ward and others. This is a great opportunity to dive deep into an area and develop your skills as an operator. Pre-registration is encouraged, as spaces fill up fast.
Workshops access is available for VIP Pass holders, or through an a la carte purchase. You can purchase Workshop access at registration.
Offsite Mixology Class I
10:00am – 1:00pm
Join legendary mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim for a mixology seminar on Agave spirits. This two hour intensive training includes discussions, demonstrations, tastings, and culminates with a fun competition. This event is held at the SAHARA Las Vegas, and transportation is provided from the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Mixology Class access is available with an a la carte purchase, and space is limited.
Breakout Sessions
1:00pm – 5:00pm
Our breakout sessions are quick, one-hour masterclasses covering everything from technology to staffing, training techniques, DEI, marketing and more. Come ready to learn and ask questions, speakers are always available for Q&A after the session.
Breakout conference sessions are available to Education + Expo Pass and VIP Pass holders.
Offsite Back of House Culinary Tour
2:00pm – 3:00pm
Go behind the scenes of Bazaar Meat by José Andrés. Bazaar Meat is the celebration of all things carnivore from the James Beard award-winning chef, and this ‘Back of House’ tour will let you see how the restaurant is run and organized. Transportation is provided, and there are a limit of 20 spaces available.
Access to the Offsite Back of House Culinary Tour is available with an a la carte purchase, space is limited.

Welcome Kickoff Party
6:30pm – 8:30pm
Kickstart #BRE2022 at our Welcome Kickoff Party on March 21 at the SAHARA Hotel’s beautiful Azilo Pool. Everyone is welcome to join! Entrance is included in all registration passes so you can mingle with over 2,000 industry pros while enjoying complimentary beverages from our sponsors.
The Welcome Kickoff Party is open to all attendees.
Platinum Party
9:00pm – 11:00pm
Make your way to XS Nightclub for our first VIP Platinum Party at the best club in the country. This multi-million venue has pyrotechnics, LEDs, lasers and the world’s top DJs.
